With active participation
from individuals and chapters all over the world, the Information
Systems Security Association (ISSA) is the largest international
non-for-profit association specifically for information security
professionals.
It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction
opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional
growth of its members.
This is the website for the ISSA EMEA Organisation to support
individual Chapters within the EMEA region. We deliver news,
details of events, training and exclusive offers to our members
in EMEA for Information Security.
ISSA International (see http://www.issa.org) have just announced that is has taken management and ownership of the "Secure Software Forum" - an educational initiative co-created in 2005 by SPI Dynamics and Microsoft. You can download the announcement here.
Nominations Sought for International Board of Directors
All Nominations must be received by March 30, 12 Midnight US Pacific Time
ISSA members in good standing who have responsibility for or active involvement with information systems security or supply information systems security consulting services are being sought for leadership positions on the 2008-2009 ISSA International Board of Directors.
Nominations must be made by the candidate’s chapter and be accompanied by a Statement of Commitment form, photo, biography and the goals the candidate wishes to achieve as a member of the ISSA Board.
Questions and nominations should be directed to William Tompkins, Election Committee Chair, Electionchair at issa dot org. Nominations received after midnight on March 30 will not be considered.
